Welcome to the official page of Rich & Bennett’s 24th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl! Pub crawl season in Charlotte is unlike any other in the world. ‘Tis the season where Rich & Bennett paint the town green with thousands of custom event t-shirts & koozies to keep your beverage cold (because that’s important), and hold prepay/t-shirt pickup events all leading ​up to crawl day.

Charlotte’s Original & Largest St. Patrick’s Day Crawl is BACK on Saturday, March 14th and better than ever. We are planning to have 40+ locations involved throughout Uptown & South End Charlotte as to offer plenty of venues to party. Cost varies from $25-$30 (pending when/where you purchase tickets) and includes our world famous (true story) t-shirt that gets you access to all participating bars, event koozie, drink specials, swag at check-in while supplies last, entry into raffle, pub crawl discount card, and being part of this historic event! Additionally, you are supporting a small local business, it’s charity (the more we make, the more we donate), and keeping Charlotte on the map as one of THE places to be to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

KICKOFF PARTY/CHECK-IN: 12pm-3pm in the Pub Crawl Party Lot Uptown (220 N. Brevard Street). That’s where you’ll get your shirt if you haven’t picked it up yet, event koozie, and some free swag while supplies last. There will also be plenty of bars, DJ’s, and exclusive pub crawl merch for sale!

Where are crawlers come from? We want to know! When you check out on Eventbrite you can enter the city/state you’re coming from and we will keep a running tally. If you are buying thru Glory Days or coming to a prepay event, shoot us an email and we’ll add it to the list! If we missed your city, please let us know! 





We were devastated at the passing of Jeff Bennett, Rich & Bennett co-founder, on December 7, 2020. We continue to be incredibly heartbroken to have lost such an amazing, kind, and positive person and friend. Bennett was a cherished member of the Charlotte community and brought thousands of people together over the last 20 years through our pub crawls and events. He will forever be missed by so many. If you’re joining us on this year’s crawl, or even if you’re not, take a moment to toast our dearly missed friend and smile, just as he’d want you to.

Why come to a  prepay event? Save on fees, skip lines on crawl day, get first dibs at sizes, and be able to sleep in your shirt for weeks before the event! If you can’t make it for any reason, send a friend to pick yours up. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of shirts you can buy or pick up!

How do I get My Pub Crawl Shirt (This is your Ticket to Our Crawl!)

​If we get to a point where sizes are limited due to high volume, we still need you to have the shirt. You can carry it, wear it as a scarf, turn it into a purse, get crazy.

What shirt sizes are available?

All shirts are Unisex. We have XS – 3XL. Shirt sizes vary by manufacturer year to year and we’ll have a size chart once tickets are on sale.

What and where is the kickoff party/check-in?

The kickoff party & check-in runs 12pm-3pm and is where you will receive your event koozie, pick up your t-shirt (if you haven’t already done so), and party! DJ’s, bars, vendors, go!

What is your refund policy?

You may cancel with a full refund up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event. No refunds will be issued after 12:00pm on Wednesday, March 11th.

What are your top 4 recommendations to make the most of the event?
  1. Pace yourself – the Pub Crawl is a beautiful journey of Uptown Charlotte, not a race.
    Eat, Drink and Be Merry is a legendary saying for a reason. You’ve got the whole day to experience Rich & Bennett’s Pub Crawl in Uptown Charlotte. Have drinks at the participating bars. Enjoy food at one of the many wonderful restaurants participating in the crawl. Take your time, be responsible, drink lots of water, and first and foremost – Have Fun!
  2. Come with your old friends but be prepared to make new ones. Charlotte is a friendly city. So if you’re coming from out of town, be prepared to be taken in by some of the country’s nicest people! Crawlers travel from as close as down the street to half way across the world to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us!
  3. Wearing the Rich & Bennett 21st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl T-shirt is mandatory. However, as long as it is still in tact, you can be creative. Make the outfit your own, but make sure the t-shirt can be recognized by venue staff.
  4. Do Not Drive!! Call a sober friend. Call one of the cab companies listed on our itinerary. Call UBER or LYFT, the Designated Driving services that gets you home safely and in style. Bribe a pedicab driver or horse and carriage to take you outside the belt loop.  Or arrange a reservation at one of our participating hotels and WALK over at the end of the night.
How does it work?

Come to the kick-off party (220 N. Brevard Street) from 12-3 where you’ll get your event koozie, swag while it lasts, buy some cool RB merch, party and dance…oh, and pick up your shirt if you haven’t!

 

I never received a confirmation email?

You may have typed your email address incorrectly.  Not to worry, we can look you up by name, however that line will move a little slower than the people that already have their QR Codes. Our confirmation emails often land in the Spam Folder so check there too.

What time does it start/end?

The kickoff party/check-in runs 12:00pm-3:00pm on the day of the event, and while there is no scheduled itinerary we generally consider the event over at 10pm.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit, debit.

 

If I order online, when can I pick up my t-shirt?

You can pick up your event t-shirt at any one of the Prepay Events or at Check-In on Saturday, March 14th from 12:00-3:00.  ALL RESERVATIONS will be released without refund at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 14th.  Please have your confirmation email with QR/barcode ready for when you get to the front.  If you are unable to make check-in or a prepay event please see below.

 

Can a friend pick up my T-shirt?

You can have a friend pick up your t-shirt at any of the Prepay Events or the day of. If you are unable to make check-in you can have a friend pick up your shirt for you. They will need your confirmation email with Order Number or QR Code/barcode.

Can you enter/leave a bar/restaurant with an alcoholic beverage open OR closed in your hand?

NO. North Carolina prohibits open containers leaving/entering any bar/restaurant. You may not travel from place to place with an alcoholic beverage. Finish your alcoholic beverage THEN travel to you next destination!!
